Rudy Andrea - Boardmember Since 2000
Rudy has an undergraduate degree in Pre-law from CCNY '79 and Masters in
Marketing and Business Administration from Iowa College '84. Rudy has held a
number of upper management positions with Johnson & Johnson, The Mennen
Company and Panasonic. He established and currently presides over the The
Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation (TAFF) working very closely with numerous
charitable organizations such as, Children's Hospital of Dallas, Children's
Hospital of Boston, Infant & Toddler Intervention Program of Plano, Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation, Texas Pediatric Society Foundation and With Love It's
a Small World in Frisco, Texas. Mr. Andrea also sits on the Board of Directors
of several charitable organizations. He is part of the founding fathers of the
Dolphin Research Center in the Florida Keys. He is the President of RAC
JAC Family Investment Group.

Don Bolen - Boardmember Since 2003
Don L. Bolen recently retired from American International Group (AIG) and was a
Division Company Chief Operating Officer. He served in various capacities in the
Insurance Industry from agent through corporate officer positions over his 43 year
career. He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Marketing/Business
Administration Management. He serves on the Board of Governors of Stonebriar Country
Club and is involved with many other charitable organizations.

Dick Bowman - Boardmember Since 1999
Dick Bowman is retired from Sun Microsystems where he served as Vice President of the
combined Federal and Southern Areas for 9 years. He moved to Plano in 1995 as the Vice
President for the U.S.-wide Reseller operation for Sun. He is a graduate of the University
of Alabama with a major in math. He subsequently attended Duke Universitys Advanced
Management program at the Fuqua School of Business. Mr. Bowman is also a founding member
of Small World.

Jacqueline Bowman - Boardmember Since 1999
Jacqueline Bowman is a homemaker and volunteer worker. She served two terms on the board
of the North Dallas Newcomers Club. She is an exceptional Philanthropist dedicated to the welfare
of children. In July of 2000, Jacqueline Bowman was honored by the Governor of Texas with
the Yellow Rose award for her outstanding dedication and service to the community. Mrs. Bowman is
also a founding member of Small World.

Doug Brown - Boardmember Since 2003
Doug Brown currently serves as VP of Global Logistics RAC (Rent-a-Center).
Doug’s responsibilities include overseeing global transportation, cross-dock
operations, the distribution of inventory to existing stores and new store
openings, the automated freight payment system, the centralized freight claims
processing operation, the company’s fleet of vans and cars. In addition, he
coordinates transportation for team member relocations. Doug graduated from
Oklahoma State University with a degree in Education. He is a member of the
Council of Logistics Management, and he has completed the DDI management
leadership training series.

Thamara Millan - Founder - 1996
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Ms. Millan began studies at The University of Venezuela seeking
an International Studies Degree (1978). She came to Texas in 1980 and began a family. Later,
she attended The University of Texas at Dallas obtaining a Degree in Finance and Economics (1995) and
continued graduate courses at Texas A&M and obtained her Teaching Certification. In 2002, she completed
Advanced Graduate Studies in Dispute Resolution at SMU. With her strong desire to help needy children and
while working for the Frisco ISD in 1996, she founded Small World with the help of Dick & Jacqueline Bowman
and James White.

Ron Polston - Boardmember Since 1998
Mr. Polston has served as Senior Vice President of Sales, United American Insurance Company, since 1995.
He has Career in Insurance from Regional Director of Sales to Current position.
He has been a Board Member of Small World since 1998.
Ron holds a B.S. and M.S. from Southwest State University in Oklahoma.

Rick Reedy - Boardmember Since 1999
Dr. Reedy has been in the Frisco education system since 1976. In 1997, he became
Superintendent of Frisco ISD (the fastest growing school system in the Country)
and continues to serve as Superintendent today. He is a graduate of East Texas
State University, with B.S.; M.S.; ED. D. Additionally, Dr. Reedy serves on
the following: a member of the Legislative Committee of the Texas Association
of School Administrators, as Vice-Chair of Texas Fast Growth Coalition of Schools,
The Collin County Adventure Camp Advisory Board, an ex-officio member of the Frisco
Education Foundation, and as a member of the Legislative Council of the University
Interscholastic League of Texas.

Denise Wharton
Denise Wharton has lived in Texas for twenty years, eighteen of those years in Frisco.
Denise graduated nursing school in 1985 and began working at Parkland Memorial
Hospital, U. T. Southwestern Medical Center, and Zale Lipshy Hospital in Dallas.
Denise became a full-time mom when her children were born. Denise began volunteering
with her church and other community organizations. When her kids started school,
Denise became actively involved in PTA. In 2001, she began working part-time for
Frisco ISD as a nurse and social worker. Denise started working with Small World
in 2003 as Holiday Program Coordinator.

James White - Boardmember Since 1998
Mr. White has been President and CEO, K&W Enterprises since 1976. He has been on the Board of Directors of
Small World since 1998. From 1985 to 1993, he was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society in Northport,
New York. He attended St. Johns University and Adelphi University Graduate School as well served in
the United States Marine Core (USMC). Mr. White is also a founding member of Small World.

Diana Moya - Boardmember Since 2006
Originally from Venezuela, Diana runs a Real Estate business in Frisco where she has
resided for 2 of her 14 years in Texas. Diana lived in New England for 12 years
and in Mexico City for 6 years. Her love for community and a strong sense of
leadership, has taken her to serve in many non-profit organizations and foundations
over the years. Founder and first President of the Venezuelan American Chamber of
Commerce and as Executive Director of Houston International Initiatives travelled
to most countries in the Americas on behalf of City government. With a formal
education in Architecture and Fine Arts, Diana is an accomplished visual artist
and has produced community service programming for public television. Diana is
currently the President of the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco, a sponsor member of
the Frisco Association for the Arts, a Board member of the City of Frisco’s Great
Steak of Texas Festival, and an active member of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. |

Scott Britton - Boardmember Since 2006
Scott Britton founded the software development company IWC, Inc. in 1996 and currently serves
as President and CEO overseeing all operations. Before founding IWC, Scott has worked for a number of companies in technical roles
such as Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), PageNet (now Arch Communications), and Schlumberger. Scott graduated from Tulane
University in New Orleans with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
